I was able to sleep and not have a bad dream last night. And, I woke up at a decent time today. My theory is that I have been out of one of my medications for a few days and I just got the new bottle yesterday. I was a little worried yesterday because I was feeling flat. My first thought was being worried that my happiness was fleeting and I am just going to drop back into a depression. But, I still love Morty and look forward to living life with him.
He sent me a text saying that he ordered my favorite cake for my bday and he already got me something. But he wanted to know if there was something I really want for my bday. He already got me more than anyone else has given me. My family usually just give me some cash in a card and I use that to pay bills. When I have tried to have a gathering of friends for my bday, it always falls through. Last year I invited my D&D group and maybe four other people. Only MidnightVixenFox and Aurora Crystalhart came. I just stopped hoping for something special to happen for my bday. Is Morty actually going to make me feel special for my bday this year?
Last night we had our first "fight". I noticed that there have been a few times that Morty uses the bathroom and pees on the seat. I told him that I noticed this happening multiple times and I need him to either lift the seat or clean up after himself. He apologized and said he would try to be better about it. That's it. That was the fight. Or rather, with any other guy that I've been with, it would be awkward or an argument. Instead, we just had a small talk to resolve it. I'm so happy that I don't have to worry about bringing up anything that bugs me and he will listen and be willing to work on something.
Around 1300, the doorbell rang and I was getting ready to firmly tell a solicitor to leave us alone. Surprise! Morty had beautiful flowers and present delivered to me as a surprise early birthday present. I have specifically asked guys before to get me flowers and only my ex-husband gave me roses for our first Valentine's Day together. Otherwise, I have always bought my own flowers (Thanks, Miley Cyrus). I love that I didn't have to ask for flowers. Morty just got them for me on his own. He also had a candle (Tobacco and Leather smell), and a plushy but he didn't get to choose what kind. I got a cute cow that lives on my desk now.
It is D&D night tonight! I'm happy that Morty had fun coming to his first session last week. Our group is going to start streaming our sessions when our new campaign starts next week. I'll be sure to post the sessions or link on the website.
